We built the collar
we couldn't find.
We have two dogs — Nova, a Cane Corso, and Lulu, a Maltese. Wild ones, both of them. Add two kids — a 10-year-old with a softball schedule and a 7-year-old with a baseball schedule — and you've got a family that is constantly moving. Every walk, every training session, every trip out the door already meant juggling multiple collars. Our life is chaotic enough and we needed to simplify things.
Most training collars aren't built to stay on all day. They need a daily charge, they're bulky, and they're not something you'd want your dog wearing to the park or just hanging around the house.
One day Amanda said it out loud: "I wish we just had one collar with everything we need in it."
So Lawrence did what any reasonable husband would do — he started 3D printing and teaching himself to sew. Built a concept from scratch, then brought in engineers to help turn it into something real.
That's Hustle & Hound. Built in a garage, by a military family with two great kids, two wild dogs, and zero time to waste — for every dog owner who's ever stood at the door holding four collars and just wanted to go on a walk.
24 Years in Service
Lawrence is still active-duty Navy. This isn't a brand story — it's a real family solving a real problem.
Hands-On by Design
Every engraving is done in-house. Every order is personally handled. That's not a limitation — it's the standard we set.
Two Dogs. Real Training.
Nova is a Cane Corso. Lulu is a Maltese. This collar was built for them first.
